Principal Software Engineer (Mobile/OTT)

Salary: $185,000 - $215,000 yearly

What you will do

• Drive the architecture and evolution of shared libraries and platform components for iOS, Android, and OTT applications.
• Author technical design documents and RFCs to influence engineering direction across multiple teams.
• Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines and release workflows to improve velocity and reliability.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to define long-term technical vision and roadmaps.
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code while solving complex platform and release issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep experience with mobile application architecture and development.
• Recent experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), and/or Swift.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across teams without direct authority.
• Experience building or maintaining shared libraries, SDKs, or internal platforms.
• Fluency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping high-traffic consumer applications to production.
• Knowledge of video playback technologies like ExoPlayer, AVFoundation, or JW Player.
• Familiarity with dynamic ad integration and tracking.
• Experience scaling automated testing strategies across multiple platforms.
