iOS Developer (Swift): Build and improve hirify.global’s native iOS application for thousands of daily users with an accent on performance, responsive and accessible UI, and end-to-end delivery. Focus on shipping code often, debugging and profiling the app, and continuously improving developer experience through tooling, automation, and well-documented, testable code.

Location: Hybrid, in our Boston office 3 days/ week

Salary: $150-$170k

What you will do

• Develop and optimize the native iOS application, aiming for best-in-class quality.
• Deliver frequently by shipping code often and responding quickly to customer feedback and issues.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team to shape the future direction of the iOS app.
• Debug, fix bugs, profile, and improve application performance.
• Build tools and improve developer experience by automating repetitive tasks and simplifying workflows.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable, and maintainable code, including documenting APIs and behavior.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Swift, common iOS frameworks, and reactive patterns.
• Strong understanding of mobile databases.
• Detailed knowledge of architectural patterns and how to apply them.
• Experience writing responsive, accessible, and maintainable UI components.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, plus continuous integration and delivery.
• Examples of published apps you have worked on.
