TL;DR
Applications Software Engineer (Embedded): Developing sample code, demo applications, and providing technical support for S32-family MPUs with an accent on low-level software, Linux systems, and hardware-software interaction. Focus on debugging complex system issues, performing board-level bring-up, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer success.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Roznov or Ostrava, Czech Republic (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home)

What you will do
- Develop sample code, demo applications, and proof-of-concepts for S32-family MPUs.
- Reproduce and root-cause customer issues across bootloaders, drivers, and memory subsystems.
- Support board-level bring-up tasks including serial console diagnostics and power-on validation.
- Collaborate with internal silicon and software teams to track and escalate technical issues.
- Contribute to internal documentation and debug reports to improve team knowledge.
- Provide direct technical support to customers during integration and configuration phases.
Requirements
- Must have a valid visa and work permit for the Czech Republic.
- Professional experience in systems programming, embedded Linux, or platform bring-up.
- Strong debugging mindset with the ability to trace code paths and analyze logs.
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Python for scripting and integration tasks.
- Willingness to learn multi-core systems, interrupt routing, and performance analysis.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from Roznov or Ostrava sites.
Nice to have
- Experience with U-Boot, device tree tuning, or kernel driver development.
- Familiarity with Yocto or similar build systems.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry or with ECUs.
- Interest in hardware-aware software engineering and concurrency.
