TL;DR

Applications Software Engineer (Embedded Linux): Developing sample code and demo applications for S32-family MPUs with an accent on system bring-up and customer integration support. Focus on root-causing complex issues across bootloaders and drivers and optimizing HW/SW interaction.

Location: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) in Rožnov or Ostrava. Must have a valid visa and work permit to work in the Czech Republic.

What you will do

  • Develop sample code, demo applications, and proof-of-concepts for S32-family MPUs.
  • Root-cause customer issues across bootloaders, drivers, and multi-core initialization.
  • Create and maintain internal scripts and tools to accelerate debug and validation workflows.
  • Support customers with software integration, configuration, and patching.
  • Perform board-level bring-up tasks including serial console and boot diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with internal silicon and validation teams to escalate and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in systems programming, embedded Linux, or platform bring-up.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for debugging and scripting.
  • Strong debugging mindset and ability to analyze logs and trace code paths.
  • Valid visa and work permit to work in the Czech Republic.

Nice to have

  • Experience with U-Boot, device tree tuning, or kernel drivers.
  • Familiarity with Yocto build systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and embedded platforms.
