Device Engineer (FinFET)

Location: On-site in Leixlip, Ireland

Annual salary: €71,300–€133,900, plus potential additional compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive factory product power and performance roadmaps, including device targeting, customization, and variability improvement.
• Own engineering projects supporting yield roadmaps, device targets, and performance goals.
• Develop new device technologies with Technology Development teams and transfer customized architectures into production fabs.
• Lead cross-organizational investigations into device-related yield and performance issues and define mitigation plans.
• Own new product introduction in the production fab and optimize device-related processes for foundry customer requirements.
• Develop predictive models for device performance and implement process simplification and cost-reduction opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in device physics, electronics, physics, chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5–10 years of experience in the advanced-node semiconductor industry, Device Engineering, or FEOL/BEOL integration.
• 5–10 years of experience with FinFET technology development or high-volume manufacturing.
• 5–10 years of experience applying device physics in a real-world fab environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, self-motivation, adaptability, and goal-commitment skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
• Experience with product performance roadmaps, process transfers, high-volume manufacturing, and external foundry customers.
• Experience with GAA technology architecture and new semiconductor technology development.
• Knowledge of lithography, dry etch, wet etch, CMP, diffusion, implant, thin films, and metrology.
