What you will do

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications within a cloud-hosted distributed system.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify product enhancements.
  • Provide architectural input to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional Agile and DevOps teams to improve delivery processes.
  • Mentor team members and share technical knowledge to up-skill the team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring/Spring Boot, and frontend tools like React or Angular.
  • Experience with cloud environments including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background in CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as NewRelic, OpenSearch, or Kibana.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and test-driven development.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Experience or strong interest in implementing AI-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern IDE refactoring tools.
