What you will do

  • Lead commercial negotiations with foundry partners regarding wafer pricing, volume purchase agreements, and long-term contracts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with long-term product and technology roadmaps.
  • Perform should-cost analysis for various technology nodes and wafer sizes to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Manage foundry performance through scorecards tracking yield, delivery reliability, and commercial metrics.
  • Secure and defend wafer capacity allocations during periods of high market demand.
  • Act as the commercial lead for cross-functional projects involving tape-outs, technology transfers, and new product introductions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • At least 5 years of sourcing experience in a foundry manufacturing or semiconductor IDM environment.
  • Direct experience sourcing wafer products, bare die, or frontend services.
  • Proficiency in SAP for vendor and data management.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
  • Deep understanding of foundry-specific commercial levers like yield-based pricing and mask set costs.
