Kurdish (Sorani) Language Specialist (AI Trainer)

Location: Remote, based in Turkey

Compensation: $8–$65 per hour, with the final rate determined by experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Converse with language models in Sorani Kurdish across a broad range of topics.
• Evaluate phonetics, morphology, syntax, vocabulary, dialectal distinctions, colloquial expressions, and cultural references.
• Verify linguistic accuracy, contextual interpretation, semantic precision, and cultural relevance.
• Document reproducible model failures and error traces.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Professional expertise in Kurdish (Sorani) language and culture is required.
• Strong knowledge of phonetics, morphology, syntax, regional dialects, colloquial expressions, and cultural context.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain linguistic reasoning.
• A degree in Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, Translation, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work is relevant.
• Must be based in Turkey and work remotely as a contractor.
