AI Tutor (Swedish)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs; US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois

Salary: US-based candidates receive $35–$45 per hour; compensation information for international candidates is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Provide labels, annotations, recordings, transcriptions, and other inputs for multilingual audio projects.
• Curate high-quality audio data representing natural speech, accents, intonation, rhythm, and other prosodic details.
• Evaluate speech accuracy, pronunciation, cultural vocal expressions, and contextual meaning across languages.
• Collaborate with technical staff on speech modulation, accent variation, noisy recordings, and multilingual audio processing.
• Improve annotation tools and workflows for efficient audio data production.

Requirements

• Native Swedish proficiency with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher with clear, natural pronunciation suitable for audio recording.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to identify differences in pronunciation, intonation, accents, and audio quality.
• Experience transcribing audio accurately across accents and varying recording quality.
• Ability to make independent, consistent judgments on ambiguous, noisy, or accented audio material.
• For personal-device work, use a Chromebook, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, or cognitive science.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice model training.
• Professional voice experience, such as voice acting, voice recording, or podcasting.
• Portfolio containing voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related work.
