Polish Language Subject Matter Expert – AI Audio Transcription

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be based anywhere in Germany

What you will do

• Lead and support Polish-specific audio transcription labelers and reviewers.
• Provide expert guidance on transcription, labeling, Polish grammar, pronunciation, dialects, and natural spoken usage.
• Audit labeling and reviewing work to maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance, identify recurring issues, and provide actionable feedback and coaching.
• Host Office Hours, manage project questions through Discord, and communicate guideline updates.
• Collaborate with Project Operators and Project Managers on quality, workflow, and performance concerns.

Requirements

• Native Polish proficiency is required.
• Strong knowledge of Polish grammar, vocabulary, regional and dialectal variation, pronunciation, and natural spoken usage.
• Strong attention to detail when identifying linguistic, transcription, or labeling errors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
• Familiarity with Discord or similar online collaboration platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with audio transcription, data labeling, linguistic annotation, quality assurance, or AI/ML data projects.
• Experience providing feedback, coaching, or leading teams.
• Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or language education.
• Experience with AI training data pipelines or annotation platforms.
• Familiarity with Polish speech patterns and dialectal variation.
