What you will do

• Understand, modify, and take shared ownership of complex, critical sensor detection and response capabilities.
• Develop expertise in Falcon sensor core logic and support other developers using SSP-owned technologies.
• Communicate design decisions, constraints, guarantees, and system behavior to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, adversary response, malware research, and product/program teams across time zones.
• Write production code and tests, including unit, functional, and integration testing.
• Diagnose and resolve issues found by customers or other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Ability to take responsibility and ownership of work.
• Strong ability to design and implement performant, functionally-correct, well-structured logic.
• Experience maintaining and improving a large existing codebase.
• Ability to reason about, describe, and communicate complex highly-concurrent systems.
• Ability to read and write C++ (not primarily a C++ role).
• Must be able to work effectively in a distributed team across time zones and continents.
