Technical Lead - Octopai (C# .NET)

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across architecture, design, implementation, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Lead complex features and technical initiatives from requirements and technical design through implementation and production delivery.
• Define technical approaches, break down complex problems, identify risks, and drive architectural decisions.
• Design and develop integrations with enterprise data platforms, databases, APIs, and BI and analytics systems.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Delivery, and DevOps on priorities, delivery planning, and complex production issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant senior or technical leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on backend engineering experience with C#, Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience designing and implementing complex, production-grade software systems and leading features from architecture through delivery.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, databases, SQL, performance, scalability, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines and enterprise data architectures.
• Strong code-review, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or enterprise software products, metadata management, data lineage, data catalogs, or analytics platforms.
• Experience integrating with Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience troubleshooting customer environments or mentoring senior and mid-level engineers.
