What you will do
- Perform final visual and dimensional inspections of completed hardware including tie-wire, damage, and nameplates.
- Review test data sheets for conformance to specifications and ensure shipping documentation is correctly executed.
- Oversee the FAA Repair Station as a certified FAA Repairman.
- Certify that hardware conforms to design data and is in a condition for safe operation as an FAA Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative.
- Coordinate with Sales, Quality, and Shipping personnel to ensure accurate adherence to shipping procedures.
- Present hardware to customers and government representatives for approval.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.
- 3 years of experience in inspection, quality assurance, or a related field with knowledge of FAA processes.
- Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to participate in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program due to Safety Sensitive Work regulations.
- Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
