What you will do

• Manage strategic relationships with public power partners.
• Identify growth opportunities in competitive retail markets and bilateral utility arrangements.
• Originate and advance data center infrastructure opportunities and support customer-facing initiatives.
• Coordinate large load registrations, energy management optimization, and demand response participation with Structured Trading and Market Operations.
• Manage private use networks (PUN) in ERCOT, including QSE relationships, compliance, and cross-team collaboration to optimize energy use for data centers.
• Support structuring and execution of retail supply agreements and long-term contracts; prepare internal materials for approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in project development, ERCOT/SPP load management, trading desk operations, and tariff/market structures.
• Deep understanding of RTO/ISO frameworks and regulatory processes, with proven experience managing large load customers and utility relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and cross-functional leadership, including ability to coach and develop others.
• Advanced communication and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Result-oriented, self-driven, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
