What you will do

• Independently execute system engineering lifecycle assignments from requirements capture to deployment.
• Define, plan, and execute engineering analyses and design trades within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop architecture definitions using digital engineering and MBSE frameworks.
• Perform simulation-based performance analysis for complex systems and system-of-systems.
• Prepare and present technical reports and briefings for leadership and government sponsors.
• Identify design challenges and communicate them proactively to project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Practical experience with systems engineering processes and simulation-based analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
• Proficiency with SysML, STPA, or other descriptive modeling and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, or cybersecurity.
