What you will do

• Design and deliver network infrastructure across DNS, edge, ingress, and service mesh.
• Build self-service tooling and abstractions to empower engineering teams to manage their own networking needs.
• Ensure network observability, hardening, and resilience by default.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive incident resolution through postmortem analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on technical priorities and progress.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of shared ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud networking and distributed systems at SaaS scale.
• Deep knowledge of internet architecture (DNS, CDN, WAF, Load Balancing, Ingress, Service Mesh).
• Proficiency in Go and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience building reliable, observable platforms and defining SLIs/SLOs.
• Strong security-first mindset with experience in least-privilege policies and encryption.

Nice to have

• Experience designing self-service network abstractions.
• Familiarity with Envoy, Linkerd, Cloudfront, or Cloudflare.
• Experience applying compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Open source contributions.
