What you will do

• Build and lead a new cross-functional squad of software and QA engineers in Mexico.
• Own the technical direction for key product modules, influencing architecture and design decisions.
• Unblock complex production challenges and provide hands-on troubleshooting support across the stack.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews and solution design.
• Mentor and grow engineers to foster a high-performing and inclusive team culture.
• Partner with the Engineering Manager and global leaders to improve delivery and team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Solid experience in software engineering within production environments.
• Strong full-stack expertise with Angular, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.
• Proven track record in leading and developing engineers, including direct reports.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical contributions.
• Experience supporting and improving live production systems.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (Reforma office twice a week).
