What you will do

  • Coordinate day-to-day financial operations including revenue accounting, cost recoveries, and payroll-related processes.
  • Review and reconcile financial records for operating, research, endowment, and trust funds.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to faculty, staff, and students regarding University policies.
  • Guide researchers on managing grants, monitoring commitments, and resolving deficits.
  • Process a broad range of financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and international payments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by preparing projections and monitoring variances.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting or Payroll CPA Level 2.
  • Minimum 4 years of related financial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial administration practices, including AP/AR and reconciliations.
  • Experience administering funding from various sources and ensuring compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Workday is considered an asset.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite at the Vancouver campus.
