What you will do

• Provide hands-on support for end users and resolve technical issues.
• Evaluate new features and functions within existing or potential ECAD tools.
• Work with ECAD tool vendors to resolve issues and advocate for enhancements.
• Evangelize and drive adoption of ECAD tools through process development and training.
• Define best practices through documentation and requirements definition for automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in ECAD tools.
• Experience identifying engineering use-cases and defining requirements for software development.
• Proficiency with Cadence tools such as Schematic Capture, Allegro, Pulse, ACC, and Skill Programming.
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and tools like Perforce, Egnyte, or Agile.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Golang, C/C++, TCL, JSON, MySQL, Linux, or Windows NT.
