Internship – Validation Engineering (Validation data management and connected life cycle automation): Build and deploy connected lifecycle automation by managing validation data and integrating systems through the SystemLink REST API with an accent on data logging, fetching, filtering, merging, and reporting. Focus on platform integrations (NI SystemLink ↔ Spotfire/Exensio, Excel, ETM) and developing scripts to plug results back into ETM.

What you will do

• Use the SystemLink REST API to enable bi-directional data exchange for connected lifecycle automations.
• Deploy the developed interface into the validation automation framework.
• Implement data logging, fetching, filtering, and merging across multiple systems to improve usability.
• Integrate NI SystemLink with Spotfire (Exensio), Excel, and ETM.
• Develop a reporting framework to generate standard reports from fetched SystemLink data.
• Develop scripts to plug results back into ETM.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student (registered during the entire internship period).
• Master’s or bachelor’s of Science (last year of engineering school) in a software development domain.
• Strong fundamentals in data management and Python scripting.
• Affinity with Python and SQL development.
• Experience with versioning and data-management tools.
• English: good level required for meetings/presentations and for reading/writing documentation.
