SoC Functional Validation Intern

TL;DR

SoC Functional Validation Intern (SoC/Hardware Validation): Supporting functional validation of System on Chip (SoC) devices by assisting HW/SW debugging, building validation test plans, and developing validation test content and infrastructure. Focus on hands-on work with real silicon and validation metrics, using Pre-Si/Post-Si tools and hirify.global SoC architecture to help ensure readiness and quality goals.

Location: Mexico, Guadalajara (regular onsite presence required; eligible for hybrid work model)

What you will do

• Assist the SoC functional validation process for HW design, working with experienced validation engineers.
• Support HW and SW debugging and help create validation test plans to meet readiness and quality goals.
• Contribute to test content development and validation metrics data analysis.
• Help develop and implement validation infrastructure and test environments used in validation testing.
• Learn and apply Pre-Si and Post-Si tools and hirify.global SoC architecture throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• 3 months of experience with Python or C or C++ programming languages.
• Advanced English level.
• Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (no visa or immigration sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience developing code for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of SoC/Microprocessor/Computer architecture.
