What you will do

• Administer and operate VMware Tanzu GemFire / Apache Geode platforms, including cluster maintenance and configuration.
• Manage regions, replication, partitioning, and backend system integrations.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure adherence to defined SLAs.
• Perform lifecycle activities such as patching, upgrades, and resilience enhancements.
• Collaborate with application, middleware, and SRE teams to maintain platform stability and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience administering VMware Tanzu GemFire, Apache Geode, or similar memory data grid platforms.
• Strong knowledge of distributed in-memory databases and high-performance application support.
• Hands-on experience with cluster configuration, failover mechanisms, and replication.
• Proven experience in production environment support, including incident management and troubleshooting.
• English proficiency: Intermediate level required for documentation and global collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating memory data platforms with application layers.
• Familiarity with SRE, middleware, or DevOps operating models.
• Experience in enterprise environments with high availability requirements.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
