What you will do
- Negotiate and approve product cost quotations from contract manufacturers throughout the product life-cycle.
- Identify and drive cost reduction activities by analyzing quotation data and understanding relevant cost drivers.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure timely implementation of negotiated component prices.
- Maintain and analyze product and component databases to create benchmarks for price reduction activities.
- Support the RFQ process for new products and provide input on cost structures to the product development team.
- Optimize purchase cost parameters including order quantities, demand changes, and delivery terms.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Economy, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of supply chain or sourcing experience within international manufacturing companies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
- English: C1 level required (both oral and written).
