What you will do

• Lead the development of scalable, self-serve insight products and dashboards using BigQuery, dbt, and Looker.
• Oversee the entire data product lifecycle, including tracking plans, data modeling, and ELT pipelines.
• Implement and maintain robust data observability practices, including automated validation, anomaly detection, and SLAs.
• Ensure data quality and consistent metric reporting across a wide range of data products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and cross-functional product teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or engineering roles.
• Exceptional SQL skills and deep expertise with the modern data stack (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow).
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, such as Kimball methodology and star schemas.
• Hands-on experience with data observability frameworks and validation methods.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into advanced technical analytics solutions.
• Must be located in or able to work from Barcelona, Spain
