Senior IAM Engineer (Identity Governance)

Location: Remote within the United States, except California. East coast applicants must work Central or Mountain Time Zone hours. An onsite interview or in-person onboarding may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, configuration, and enhancement of IAM products including SailPoint, Saviynt, and Okta.
• Implement role management, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC authorization, lifecycle management, Separation of Duties, and access certifications.
• Manage identity lifecycles and access certifications with Microsoft Active Directory and cloud or on-premises directories.
• Integrate IAM products with AWS, GCP, Azure, APIs, and other cloud platforms.
• Build automation and metrics using PowerShell, RPA, SQL, Power Automate, and other tools.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to identify business needs, guide future enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, and coach peers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
• At least 4 years of experience engineering or architecting SailPoint solutions.
• Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of SailPoint, Saviynt, and Okta, with experience scaling IAM platforms.
• Experience creating and updating scripts and code, plus working with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud infrastructure.
• Must be eligible to work remotely within the United States, excluding California, and must be able to work Central or Mountain Time Zone hours when applicable. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Expertise in access management frameworks, access certifications, and Separation of Duties implementation.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud or on-premises directory integrations.
• Experience with PowerShell, RPA, SQL, Power Automate, privileged access management tools, and metrics reporting.
• Technical leadership, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
