What you will do

• Assist customers with the installation, setup, and configuration of software products.
• Troubleshoot reported symptoms to identify root causes and provide effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to guide the creation of permanent product fixes.
• Track all customer interactions and progress within internal support systems.
• Maintain high standards of service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 2+ years of experience in an IBM z/OS environment as a Systems Programmer, DBA, or Application Developer.
• 1+ years of experience with z/OS database or application platforms (CICS, IMS, ADABAS, IDMS, or VSAM).
• Proficiency with JCL, ISPF, and SMP/E.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, specifically with IBM z/OS and TCP/IP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Web Services standards (SOAP, REST, WSDL) and application servers.
• Experience with DB2 utilities, stored procedures, or DB2 LUW.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio .NET, COBOL, or Natural.
• Experience with RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret security protocols.
• Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere Data Replication or similar tools.
