What you will do
- Operate the water pump test bench and execute test campaigns for new hardware.
- Design and perform research-driven test cases to improve pump efficiency and cavitation performance.
- Develop and manage test setups for pump prototypes in CAD.
- Support CAD design and manufacturing drawing releases for the turbopump assembly.
- Contribute to cryogenic test campaigns for the turbopump assembly.
- Analyze test data to prepare for engine testing reviews.
Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of turbopump design and similarity laws for pump performance.
- Demonstrated experience in hands-on testing and data evaluation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong skills in 3D CAD programs (SolidWorks or Siemens NX preferred) and PLM systems.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Experience in cryogenic testing.
- Thesis focused on a turbomachinery-related topic.
- Knowledge of hydrodynamic/aerodynamic design of turbomachinery components.
- Knowledge of leakage control in radial pump stages.
