A&T Technician II

TL;DR

A&T Technician II (Assembly & Test): Perform assembly, high-reliability soldering and crimping, and diagnostic rework on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves and systems with an accent on working from drawings and defined test procedures. Focus on ensuring units meet test requirements through repairs and rework on production units and hydraulic stand assembly functions.

Location: Onsite – Buffalo, NY (East Aurora, New York), 3rd shift

Salary: $25.00–$32.00 hourly

What you will do

• Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using electrical/mechanical measuring instruments and assembly tools.
• Complete high-reliability soldering and crimping on wires for complex sub-assemblies and electronic/mechanical assemblies.
• Assemble and rework units using drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other work instructions.
• Diagnose and perform rework on units that do not meet test requirements; support repairs using production units.
• Run assembly functions on hydraulic stands and perform testing using defined procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience in a technical field.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
