Location: Japan; community-facing work requires availability during GMT+9 working hours.

is an independent gaming studio developing OneState, a social RolePlay game.
What you will do
- Manage and grow the existing OneState JP community across Discord, in-game platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and app stores.
- Lead the StateAssist volunteer admin team by coaching administrators, maintaining quality, managing turnover, and recruiting when needed.
- Act as the bridge between Japanese players and internal development and cross-functional teams.
- Collect, structure, and communicate actionable player feedback to developers.
- Create Japanese gameplay guides and tutorials and organize community events around Japanese holidays and event calendars.
- Manage the JP Content Creator Program and relationships with streamers, YouTubers, and other creators.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of community management experience, including at least 3 years in gaming.
- Native or fully fluent Japanese and fluent English at C1–C2 level are required.
- Experience using, managing, and editing Discord servers.
- Experience managing or training volunteer or unpaid administrator teams.
- Familiarity with data-driven community operations, player research, and structured feedback collection.
- Availability for GMT+9 working hours for community-facing work.
Nice to have
- Mobile gaming, mobile RP, social RP, Role Play, or GTA-style gaming experience.
- Experience with content creator programs or influencer partnerships.
- Experience launching a new community or region from scratch.
- Familiarity with OneState or similar games.
- Other Southeast Asian language proficiency.
