Instructional Designer

TL;DR

Instructional Designer (Education Services): Designing and developing interactive technical training materials and eLearning modules for a global software testing platform with an accent on Articulate Storyline and adult learning principles. Location: Must be based in Manila, Philippines (Hybrid work arrangement).

What you will do

• Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create high-quality scripts, storyboards, scenarios, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and apply instructional design models to recommend effective training approaches.
• Collaborate with SMEs and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into learner-friendly content.
• Maintain and update existing learning assets to ensure relevance and instructional accuracy.
• Review and enhance training materials to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a technical position and as an instructional designer or trainer.
• Strong proficiency in Articulate Storyline, preferably with advanced-level expertise in creating interactive learning experiences.
• Experience in developing assessments for certifications in technical subjects.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with rapid development deadlines.

Nice to have

• Formal qualification in Instructional Design or Content Development.
• Knowledge of Agile development techniques.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and web development skills.
