What you will do

• Translate complex tax and regulatory requirements from Brazil and LATAM into functional system changes.
• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP localization, including SPED, electronic invoicing, and tax compliance.
• Facilitate problem-solving discussions with clients and internal teams to resolve complex regulatory issues.
• Design and configure SAP modules, producing detailed business requirements and functional user stories.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure functional compliance.
• Prepare release documentation and provide guidance to internal teams and customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Brazil SAP projects as a primary responsibility.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese is required.
• Strong knowledge of Brazil localization, including SPED, NF-e/NFS-e, and tax compliance (ICMS/IPI/ISS).
• In-depth functional and technical understanding of SAP systems and module configuration.
• Must be based in Brazil with a stable remote working environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and JIRA.
• Knowledge of ABAP and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with upcoming Brazilian tax reform topics (IBS/CBS).
