TL;DR
Junior Payment & Operations Analyst (Fintech): Supporting payment operations, monitoring payment flows, and improving payment platforms, merchant processes, and operational dashboards with an accent on incident follow-up, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on analysing transaction discrepancies, structuring business requirements, supporting UAT and Agile delivery, and maintaining efficient, compliant payment flows.
Location: Bertrange, Luxembourg; hybrid working environment according to local policies. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do
- Provide first-line support for payment incidents, monitor payment flows and alerts, and escalate issues to second-line teams.
- Track payment platform bugs, improvements, reporting, purchase orders, and invoice verification.
- Support product and delivery activities by structuring business needs, drafting user stories, maintaining functional documentation, and participating in UAT and defect follow-up.
- Monitor transaction discrepancies and help resolve merchant-related operational issues.
- Coordinate with Data teams on operational dashboards and translate business needs into reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Engineering, QA, Compliance, vendors, and country stakeholders.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, payments, data, or consulting.
- Strong interest in payments, fintech, or digital products.
- Analytical, structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple topics in parallel.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Fluent French and English required. Dutch is an asset.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Agile environments, Jira, and user stories.
- Experience with operational or ticketing tools.
