Focus on maintaining high service levels, resolving member inquiries, and ensuring precise execution of financial transactions within a hybrid work environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Toronto (Hybrid)

Salary: $43,000–$63,000

What you will do

  • Examine legal and contractual documents to validate disbursement requests.
  • Calculate cash values, dividends, and withholding taxes for claim settlements.
  • Manage internal and external rollovers, loan repayments, and rider adjustments.
  • Interpret complex legal documents including divorce decrees and power of attorney forms.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by answering inbound inquiries regarding processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operations and participate in user acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work rotating shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
  • Must be available to provide coverage on Canadian Statutory holidays.
  • Proven experience with state or provincial financial legislation.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for complex calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the Vantage system.
  • Participation in LOMA or similar professional development programs.
