What you will do

• Automate month-end close tasks including journal entries and reconciliations using workflow tools.
• Conduct cross-functional stakeholder interviews to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support finance transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
• Manage project plans and deliverables for transformation initiatives.
• Ensure all solutions maintain strong internal controls and regulatory compliance, specifically SOX.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve financial data analysis and decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA/macros) and SQL for data extraction.
• Experience with workflow automation tools like Alteryx or KNIME.
• Experience with dashboard development using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Experience at Big 4 accounting firms or in a public company corporate accounting function.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
