What you will do

  • Act as the single point of contact for data quality issues across Power market datasets.
  • Define and maintain the data quality standards for the Power lane of the data platform.
  • Collaborate with analytics engineering to validate business logic and data transformations.
  • Map, catalogue, and document data assets to ensure discoverability and utility.
  • Bridge communication between technical engineering teams and domain-focused research analysts.
  • Establish processes and standards for data ownership in a newly created function.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of North American Power markets and experience with multiple ISOs (e.g., ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, SPP).
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and Python for debugging and data investigation.
  • Proven track record of owning data assets end-to-end in a production environment.
  • Experience working at the intersection of domain expertise and engineering.
  • Strong bias toward action and ability to resolve ambiguity.
