Location: Remote or Hybrid within Canada (Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto). Must have authorization to work in Canada.

What you will do

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and OpenTofu on Azure following IaC practices.
• Operate AKS clusters, including Helm releases, ingress/TLS configuration, and Gateway API CRDs.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitLab deployment automation to increase shipping speed and reduce risk.
• Develop the Internal Developer Platform, focusing on golden paths and self-service templates.
• Manage observability, alerting, and incident response for shared services, including dashboards and runbooks.
• Harden security patterns across identity, access control, secrets, and private networking.

Requirements

• Practical experience with compute, networking, storage, identity, and secrets in at least one major cloud provider.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools, with the ability to write custom modules.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and automation scripts.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including deployments, services, namespaces, and troubleshooting via kubectl.
• Solid foundation in observability, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Valid authorization to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Specific Azure expertise (AKS, EntraID, VNet, RBAC, managed identities).
• Experience with Helm chart management, GitOps workflows, or Traefik.
• Reliability engineering skills (SLOs, error budgets, resilience testing).
• Experience with IaC security scanning tools like Wiz, Checkov, or Trivy.
• FinOps mindset for monitoring and optimizing cloud cost drivers.
