What you will do

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to determine assembly requirements.
• Assemble electrical systems and install components, units, and wiring using various tools and techniques.
• Run wire and cable according to technical specifications.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to correct defects.
• Inspect and test wiring installations and circuits for resistance and operational accuracy.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production problems and plan work activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in wiring or electrical component installation or completion of a technical vocational program.
• Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math skills for technical specifications and measurements.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires and components.
