What you will do

• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support for injection molding operations.
• Implement equipment and tooling modifications to improve product quality, cycle time, and production yield.
• Lead the development, optimization, and transfer of new manufacturing processes into production.
• Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and measurement systems analysis to maintain and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with R&D and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead equipment installation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and process validation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, Advanced degree with 2+ years, or a PhD.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required (sponsorship is not available for this level).
• Experience supporting injection molding processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of scientific molding principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ and process characterization.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or automotive.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or DMAIC methodologies.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
