What you will do

• Maintain and improve the internal Cloud Development Environment to remove technical impediments for engineers.
• Manage Ruby-based services that orchestrate infrastructure and contribute to a new Golang CLI tool.
• Utilize GCP, Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform, Packer, Puppet, and CircleCI to provide effective tooling.
• Educate engineering teams on tool usage, process improvements, and best practices.
• Define team roadmaps and collaborate with distributed engineers to gather requirements.
• Create and monitor statistics to ensure tooling health and functionality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Linux systems administration, including scripting in Ruby and Bash.
• Proficiency in configuration management systems (e.g., Puppet, Chef, or Ansible).
• Experience developing or scripting in Ruby or Golang.
• Ability to contribute to project discovery, design, and implementation.
• Must be based in the United States.
