What you will do

• Design and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters supporting MSSQL workloads.
• Optimize Azure SQL Database and SQL Server on Azure VMs for performance and high availability.
• Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated infrastructure and database deployments.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams on Azure resource monitoring and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in MSSQL Server administration and optimization in Azure.
• Extensive experience with Azure services including AKS, Virtual Networks, and App Service.
• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, and T-SQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL Server clustering and PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
• Relevant Azure certifications (Administrator, Solutions Architect, Database Administrator).
• Experience with Azure Key Vault and hybrid cloud architectures.
