What you will do

• Converse with AI models on real-world clinical microbiology scenarios and pathogen-related questions.
• Verify the factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses.
• Capture and document reproducible error traces to harden model reasoning.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Apply deep domain expertise in bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic pathogens to challenge model capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Expertise in clinical diagnostics, host–pathogen interactions, antimicrobial resistance, and infection control.
• PhD in microbiology, clinical laboratory science, infectious diseases, or a closely related life-science field is preferred.
• Hands-on clinical lab experience or work in hospital/public health settings.
• Ability to provide clear, metacognitive communication and document technical reasoning.
• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet.
