TL;DR

Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer (IAM): Designing and building secure authentication, authorization, and governance workflows for internal services with an accent on IAM protocols like OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.1. Focus on implementing scalable IAM solutions, improving developer experience, and ensuring high availability and security across the organization.

Location: Must be based in Riga, Latvia (Hybrid work model with office as the main workplace).

Salary: €4,500–€6,000 gross per month.

What you will do

  • Improve existing and build new IAM solutions to support internal services.
  • Develop developer documentation, code examples, and demo applications.
  • Ensure robust processes and tooling for high availability and security operations.
  • Guide new business initiatives in choosing correct IAM integration patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
  • Participate in Agile planning and QA processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with C# and HTML/CSS.
  • Strong background in IAM protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.1, SCIM).
  • Experience with IAM services such as Azure Entra ID, OKTA, or Curity.
  • Understanding of RBAC and ABAC access control models.
  • Experience with cloud resources (containers, serverless, IaC, gateways).
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Agile development experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
  • Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
  • React knowledge for frontend tasks.
