MLRO (Crypto)

Location: Latvia; fully remote

Salary: 2,000–6,000 USD per month

hirify.global works with an international crypto payments company providing cryptocurrency payment acceptance, crypto-to-fiat conversion, and secure wallet services for e-commerce, iGaming, and fintech businesses.

What you will do

• Own and develop the AML/CFT framework, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Serve as the main AML/CFT contact for the regulator and implement a risk-based approach across the business.
• Conduct AML/CFT risk assessments and audits, identify control gaps, and drive improvements.
• Develop and deliver AML/CFT training for employees.
• Work with cross-functional teams to embed compliance controls into business processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AML/CFT, compliance, and risk management within regulated financial services or crypto businesses.
• Proven experience as an MLRO in a regulated financial services or crypto environment.
• Experience working with the Bank of Latvia on AML/CFT and compliance matters.
• Experience participating in MiCA licensing processes.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics and transaction monitoring tools, plus in-depth knowledge of EU AML/CFT regulations.
• English and Latvian required.
