Associate Product Manager (Payments)

TL;DR

Associate Product Manager (Payments): Supporting the evolution and reliability of a central back-office payment system within the Tax-Free Shopping ecosystem with an accent on financial accuracy, regulatory constraints, and complex technical flows. Focus on translating business needs into user stories, refining the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia or Hungary and hold a valid work permit for the respective country. Hybrid model: 2 days per month in Vienna's office.

What you will do

• Collect and clarify requirements from Business Units and IT Operations.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and refine the Product Backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager.
• Support the SCRUM team during sprints by resolving scope questions and updating documentation.
• Document business processes, payment flows, and integration interfaces.
• Present business requirements and expected value during sprint planning sessions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in product, business analysis, technology, or finance.
• Must be based in Slovakia or Hungary with a valid work permit.
• Strong understanding of structured requirements and agile methodologies (SCRUM).
• Excellent English language skills (oral and written).
• Ability to learn complex domains and collaborate in a multicultural environment.
• Completed education in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
