What you will do

• Research and develop wireless locationing algorithms with emphasis on Bluetooth Channel Sounding
• Run feasibility studies, simulations, and proof-of-concept implementations for emerging positioning features
• Use signal-processing, statistical modeling, and machine-learning to improve ranging accuracy, robustness, and system performance
• Evaluate algorithmic approaches for real-time distance estimation, phase-based ranging, and multipath mitigation
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to turn research into scalable embedded software solutions
• Document results and contribute to wireless specifications and Bluetooth SIG working groups when applicable

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Digital Signal Processing, Statistical Signal Processing, Machine Learning, or related algorithmic domains
• Experience developing and evaluating algorithms via simulation, modeling, or prototyping
• Proficiency in Julia, MATLAB, or Python for algorithm development and analysis
• Good understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-world implementation considerations
• Ability to investigate complex wireless and signal-processing problems using data-driven and analytical approaches
• Fluent written and spoken English
