What you will do
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through the full construction lifecycle of simulators.
- Act as a Business Owner for SAFe lifecycle, defining features and epics for Program Increment planning.
- Manage software development progress via Configuration Control Board reviews and coordination.
- Serve as the primary technical focal point for customers and suppliers.
- Create, review, and provide constructive feedback on complex technical documentation.
- Adjust project plans dynamically to handle technical disruptions and defects effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Aeronautics, or similar).
- 5+ years of professional work experience in hardware or software development projects.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.
- Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead public presentations.
- Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall acquisition lifecycles.
Nice to have
- Experience with flight simulator hardware and software technology.
- Familiarity with program management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, and SharePoint.
- Experience with modern software engineering tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Hypervisors).
- Familiarity with hardware engineering tools (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Windchill PLM).
