TL;DR

Channel Solutions Engineer (AV): Driving growth through Value Added Resellers and Solutions Integrators by aligning advanced video collaboration technology with business impact. Focus on technical enablement, strategic partner engagement, and designing complex AV/IT solutions for enterprise environments.

Location: Must be based in the USA, with a preference for the Chicago Metro Area or major tech hubs accessible to an airport.

Compensation: $125,000–$260,000 OTE (base + variable bonus).

What you will do

  • Equip channel partners with deep technical knowledge of video collaboration hardware and software through training and demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-create customized video collaboration solutions tailored to end-user requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including addressing objections and converting interest into sales.
  • Develop sales enablement resources such as competitive analyses, case studies, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between partners and internal product teams to inform product development.
  • Guide partners on industry standards and compliance for sectors like healthcare, education, and government.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA and able to travel up to 75% across the country.
  • Deep expertise in AV integration, video collaboration hardware, and software platforms.
  • Advanced IT networking skills, including cloud services and foundational cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience in Sales Engineering, AV, or IT roles within enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Workspace architectures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Industry certifications such as AVIXA, CompTIA Network+, Cisco, or Microsoft.
  • Experience with formal sales methodologies and partner management.
