TL;DR

Research Administrator (Education): Providing administrative support for digital assessment trials and research projects with an accent on stakeholder engagement and system administration. Location: Must be based in the UK, with a hybrid requirement of at least 2 days per week in the Guildford or Manchester office.

Salary: £25,600 – £27,000 (Guildford) or £24,600 – £26,000 (Manchester).

What you will do

  • Manage customer engagement and support for schools and colleges participating in assessment trials.
  • Oversee the recruitment, retention, and onboarding of trialling centres.
  • Administer on-screen assessment systems and configure digital tools for trial delivery.
  • Organize and distribute research documentation, including consent forms and surveys.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure trials run smoothly and meet quality standards.
  • Identify and propose improvements to research processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK and able to work from the Guildford or Manchester office at least 2 days per week.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in customer engagement and managing relationships both remotely and face-to-face.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Confidence using digital communication tools like Teams or Zoom and online administrative systems.
  • Awareness of project or trial-based work and a flexible approach to changing priorities.
