What you will do

• Configure, install, and maintain database management systems to ensure peak performance.
• Manage user access and implement security policies to protect data from unauthorized access.
• Develop and execute robust backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct capacity planning and growth projections to ensure system scalability.
• Support end users and application developers in troubleshooting complex database issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute database project plans.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi.
• Proven experience in public/private cloud management, specifically with on-prem to cloud migrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).
• Knowledge of vulnerability management practices.
• Experience with on-prem AD FS, Microsoft Active Directory, or Azure AD.
