EII Cloud Software Engineer - Cloud (Hybrid)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the Sunnyvale office. Must be eligible for CJIS clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status.

Base salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, plus potential bonuses, equity grants, health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

What you will do

• Develop new cloud product features for the Identity product group.
• Build and launch large, distributed, cloud-deployed systems.
• Collaborate with UI, Sensor, and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems.
• Manage competing priorities, bring structure to ambiguous scenarios, and communicate effectively across the organization and with senior leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a dynamic, team-oriented engineering environment.

Requirements

• Eligibility for CJIS clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Go, Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• 1+ year of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience building cloud-deployed applications.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• BS or BE in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively with a group of senior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, data-driven, written, and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and the ability to influence and lead.
