What you will do

• Collaborate with Test Leads, Developers, and Product Owners to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Design, prioritize, and execute high-impact tests to ensure thorough coverage and quality standards.
• Enhance and expand automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
• Integrate QA processes and results into the broader development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for quality standards and best practices across the project lifecycle.
• Research and implement new testing technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test strategy.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and optimization of automated tests.
• Proficiency in SQL, database validation, and REST API testing.
• English: C1 (Outstanding communication skills) required.

Nice to have

• Expertise in security testing (OWASP ZAP, Fortify).
• Experience in performance and load testing (LoadRunner, JMeter).
• Experience in accessibility testing (axe Dev Tools, screen readers).
• ISTQB Foundation Level, CSTE, or equivalent certifications.
